Where we work

Based in Glasgow. Working across the UK.

Map how your business actually runs, put hours and pounds on every step, then automate the parts nobody should be doing by hand. In the room with your team where that helps, on a call where it doesn't.

What does a process mapping consultant actually do?

I sit with the people who run a process, not just the people who manage it, and map every step live on screen: who does it, how long it takes, where it waits, and what it costs a year. Then I redesign it and automate the waste, mostly with tools you already own.

Who is it for?

Service businesses across Scotland and the rest of the UK, roughly five to two hundred people, where good staff lose hours to re-keying, chasing and copying between systems. I've worked across construction, manufacturing, e-commerce, accountancy and a professional football club, and with more than fifteen SMEs on AI adoption.

What does a process map look like?

A list of steps in order, each with a role, a time, a frequency and a cost, plus where work waits between steps. Each step is marked as adding value, necessary, or waste. The total at the bottom is what the process costs you a year. Most owners have never seen that number.

The quickest way to see one is to make one: the free ten-minute tool walks you through the first four steps and you keep the result. The method is written up in how to work out what a manual process costs.

Why a person in the room rather than just software?

Software draws the map you already believe in. A person in the room asks why step four exists, notices the spreadsheet nobody mentioned, and gets the honest timings. For a first map that matters more than any tool. After that, Noodell Flow keeps it current.

Where is Noodell based?

  • Noodell Ltd is registered in Scotland, company number SC898178, with its office in Glasgow.
  • Jamie studied Business Analysis and Technology and Marketing at the University of Strathclyde. The dissertation was a value stream map and time-and-cost study of a digital agency's onboarding, and you can have a copy free.
  • Over a year and a half delivering AI plans and pilots to more than fifteen SMEs through public sector grant programmes, from first discovery session to a working tool.
  • In-person sessions wherever being in the room helps, across Scotland and the rest of the UK, and calls for everything else.

Will it mean cutting staff?

No. The point is to give your people their time back for work that matters, and, if you want, to fill that time with new clients through Reach. If the only saving is somebody's job, I'll tell you and step away. More on AI without job cuts.
