This is a job with an end. You map your processes, we work out what to change, we build the things worth building, and then the work is done. At that point the honest thing is to shake hands and stop charging you.
A consultancy on retainer has every reason to find more work. We would rather you left having fixed it.

Consultant rates are UK market ranges for process mapping and optimisation, 2026: £400–£1,300 a day (median contract rate about £500, higher in London and for senior or specialist advisers), or £50–£350+ an hour. Public-sector G-Cloud suppliers price as-is and to-be mapping at £400–£1,300 a day. Noodell Flow is £595 a month for one person and £40 a month for each extra person. Your first process is free.
