How Noodell uses your data.
Plain English, no scrolling wall of clauses. If anything here is unclear, email whatsup@noodell.com and a person answers.
If we got in touch with you first
Sometimes Noodell emails, phones or messages a business we have not spoken to before. If that is why you are reading this, here is exactly where your details came from and what we do with them.
Where we got your details. Companies House, the public register of UK companies, which lists the directors of every limited company and LLP. Your company's own website, where it publishes a contact email or phone number. Occasionally your public LinkedIn profile, read by hand, never scraped.
What we hold. Your name, your role, the company you are a director of, a business email address (either one published by your company or one worked out from how your company's addresses are formed) and a business phone number if your company publishes one. We also note a few public facts about the company: roughly how many people it employs, what it does, and anything on its website that suggests how it runs, such as a careers page or an ISO 9001 badge. Nothing about you as a private individual.
Why we are allowed to. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): telling the directors of companies in the sectors we work with about a service that is relevant to the business they run. We only contact people at limited companies and LLPs, at business addresses, about business matters. We do not send marketing to personal email addresses or personal mobiles, and we do not send unsolicited text or WhatsApp messages. Under PECR, business addresses at corporate bodies can be emailed for marketing provided there is a clear way to say no, and every email we send has one.
How to stop it. Reply with "no", or email whatsup@noodell.com, or say so on the phone. We stop at once and put you on a list we check before every send, so it does not happen again. You will never be asked why.
How long we keep it. If you do not reply, we stop writing after a short sequence (never more than four emails) and delete your details within 12 months of first contact. If you tell us to stop, we keep only your name and address on the do-not-contact list so we can honour it. If we start talking properly, the "If you contact us" section below takes over.
If you contact us
When you email, call, fill in a form on this site or book a session, we keep what you send us (your name, business, email, phone, and whatever you told us about the process you want to look at) for as long as we are working together or might be, and for up to 3 years after the last contact so we can pick the conversation back up. We use it to reply, to run the work, and to invoice. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their marketing.
If you use Flow
Flow is the process-costing software we run. Each client gets a separate, private instance; nothing from one client is visible to another.
- Account data: your name, work email and company, so you can log in and we can support you.
- What you put in: process maps, step timings and staff cost rates. These belong to you. We look at them only to run the sessions you have booked, to fix a problem you have reported, or where you have asked us to. They are deleted within 90 days of your instance closing, sooner on request.
- The free self-serve tool at noodell.com/flow/try works in your browser. Nothing you type is stored unless you choose to send it to us at the end.
Flow runs on Amazon Web Services in the London region. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
This website
We use Netlify to host noodell.com and to receive form submissions. We do not run advertising trackers. Links in our emails may carry a short tag that tells us which email they came from, so we can tell what is worth sending and what is not; the tag identifies the message, not your browsing. If we ever add analytics, this page will say so first.

Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us using it (especially for marketing, where we will always stop), and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email whatsup@noodell.com and we answer within a month, usually much sooner. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and anyone we are in live contact with hears about it directly.
